Yes to both. The glaze is fired glass, so detergent does not touch it. The unglazed foot will darken slightly over years of use, which is patina, not damage.
Dove Grey, Harbor Blue and Wheat. All three share the same shape, handle and raw clay foot; only the glaze changes.
Glaze thickness changes how the colour reads, so the line where glaze meets raw clay falls a little differently on every mug. That variation is part of the finish and not a defect.
Yes. The handle is an open loop sized for a full hand rather than two fingers, and the weight sits low so the mug does not tip when you set it down without looking.
A paste of baking soda and a little water, left for ten minutes and rubbed with a cloth, lifts staining from the inside. Avoid metal scourers, which leave grey marks on glaze.

I'm desperately trying to find mugs similar to the ones I got at heb a few years back. I knew these were smaller than the 16oz, but the handle is still a decent size and fairly comfortable. Unfortunately the blue color is pretty far off from the photos and even though they are smaller they are a good bit heavier than the ones I have now.
Sturdy and looks good
Excellent quality! The handle is quite thick but it feels very sturdy in hand and fits well in the hand. The color very nice, would go easily with a lot of decor. Retains temp about the same as other cups. At $24 for 2 cups, I feel this is good value for quality cups. I highly recommend.
I like how these cups look, how they feel, how the handle keeps cool with hot liquid. The colors give them a homie feel. First thing I wanted to do was make some hot chocolate for these. The bottom is rougher. The inside and top is smooth. It feels like they are made of ceramic which would make them very durable. It gives them a lighter feel than glass. They just feel like home. Each one holds 400mL or 1 3/4 cups of liquid. Regular coffee mug size.
I love these mugs.They are super sturdy and very well made. I love pretty much everything about them.The color i got was wheat. But it's not quite that color. I would call it mocha.They are lighter than I thought as well.I believe the price is fair for these mugs.

The media could not be loaded. These mugs are sturdy, but also a heavier than a standard mug. It would be magical if a cover came with it to help my coffee to stay cold (it doesn't). I am looking forward to adding my name on it to use as a decorative addition because of the beauty and luster of the stone's gradient appearance. I like the mugs are 12 ounces in size.

I’ve been using these TOMO mugs daily for coffee and tea, and they feel really sturdy with a comfortable, roomy handle. Even though they’re stoneware, they don’t feel too heavy at all. They keep my drink warm longer and look so premium in person. For long-term use, I avoid the microwave and dishwasher to keep them looking new.
This set of two mugs is a great value, the quality of the mugs is excellent. They are made of a very sturdy stoneware and are tick and feel solid in the hands. I like the design which is a classic two tone earthy brown and they look to have a glaze on them which is just the slightest bit shiny. The mug is 12 ounces which is a good size without being too bulky to carry around. The handle is comfortable and stays cool to the touch. They also clean easily, I’ve been using them nonstop, a great gift too- as they come nicely boxed. Excellent!
These mugs are super cute! With fragiles like ceramic it’s always a worry if things will break in shipping but these were packaged well and they arrived without any damage, and the box was actually cute too and would be great and easy to wrap if gifting. They feel very nice in your hands and have a unique look. I love that they are handmade and they are a good price too. They are dishwasher and microwave safe and the color is true to the photos. I tried one yesterday with my tea and it worked great, easy to drink out of and comfortable to hold. The handle is very thick, and so is the mug itself so it doesn’t get too hot from the outside which makes it easier to grab onto even straight out of the microwave. Not only are they very functional, but they look great. Would highly recommend as a gift or for yourself!
These mugs come in a set of two which is great. As soon as I received them, I made myself a cup of coffee. I was not disappointed in this cup. I noticed the handle was very comfortable and easy to grip. Also, the handle stayed cool when the rest of the cup was hot. The coffee seemed to stay hotter in this cup than in most ceramic cups. I really like the two-tone earthy color. It holds up to 12 oz. Just large enough for my first cup of coffee in the morning.

These mugs met my expectations. The handle was large enough and comfortable. The size of the mug was ample but not huge. All in all, it was very comfortable to drink out of. I won't comment on how attractive they are or aren't because that relates to the individual's tastes but it looks exactly like the photo.
I really like these coffee mugs. The large handles are really necessary because the mugs do have a little heft to them. Theyn are well made and solid. They hold the heat well!
I love the tan color-it has a very country feel to it. The size is perfect for a fresh cup of coffee. The handle is large enough for a really good grip. The weight is perfect-heavy enough not to fall on its own but easy to carry around. I, personally, am not a fan of "stone" textures, but as long as I don't touch the outside bottom of the mug, it's all good! The quality of these mugs is great. The whole family fights over who gets the next turn!
I was looking for a pair of decent coffee cups and I found a winner. They are excellent for a male nice big handle for big fingers, also nonslip bottom. I definitely recommend these cups for anyone. Planning on getting a few more.

My boyfriend loved these the second they arrived. They have a really nice weight to them, substantial without feeling overly heavy. They feel durable and well-made.They’ve already withstood being knocked around in the sink as we stack dishes throughout the day before doing them in the evening, and they’ve held up great. The color matches the pictures perfectly, and the warm tone is really pretty in person.I also love that they come as a set of two. These stoneware coffee mugs came packaged well, and with no damage. They have a good weight to them without being too heavy when filled making it easier for me to hold and carry with my weak wrists. I love that they are handmade, they have a cute farmhouse look with a gorgeous color, and they have a nice feel to them. The handle is comfortable and easy to grip (even my husband with larger hands likes the handle size), they are very sturdy and well made. The are 12 oz which is a perfect size for a quick morning coffee, or a nice mug of hot cocoa. Compared to typical ceramic mugs, the Tomo stoneware mugs stand out. They're truly beautiful. The color scheme is attractive, they're comfortable to hold without being overly heavy, and the finish is smooth inside and out. While they will hold 12 ounces if filled to the brim, you'll be safer using them for hot beverages of 10-11 ounces or less.You can put them in a microwave to heat water for tea or instant coffee, as well as heat up a beverage if it cools off. However, because of the mug's composition, it takes longer to heat than typical mugs. On the other hand, its smooth bottom pairs extremely well with electric mug warmers. Recommended.
If you like the look and feel of stoneware, you will like these Tomo mugs. The lightly speckled interior and top of the exterior give them a tasteful rustic look. The bottom 1-1/4” is of a darker brown color and is also finished differently. Whereas the top section features a very smooth glazed finish, this bottom portion has a finish that has a less glazed texture sort of like a clay pot. This gives the mug a unique feel in your hand. The rim features this darker accent color and texture, although it is more heavily glazed like the rest of the top section. This slight texture of the rim seemed odd at first, but I got used to it fairly quickly. The handle is quite substantial and easy to grip. At 12 ounces, this is a medium-sized mug.These are excellent stoneware coffee mugs.

These quality mugs are beautiful and wonderful to drink from. The handle makes it easy to grab and hold - they are comforting with a warm cup of coffee or hot chocolate after coming in from the cold. They arrived carefully packaged in perfect condition. They recommend hand washing to keep them nice longer, although they are dishwasher safe. They are so easy to wash that I will likely just handwash them to preserve their beauty for years to come. I really love these mugs, and they will be my go-to mugs for my breakfast coffee.
These mugs are really nice quality stoneware mugs, heavyweight, solid and good looking. They hold heat very well for quite a long time for your coffee's and teas. I would wash by hand to preserve the high quality for the longest time, but it is dishwasher safe. I like the optional colors available. They are really great mugs... I like these mugs more than I expected to. The color is warm and rich, and I like the contrast between the upper, light brown portion that's smooth and velvety feeling and the bottom portion that's a darker brown, rougher stoneware feel. Am I the only one who pictures my favorite beverage in a mug before buying it? Well, rest assured that coffee, tea and especially dressed up cocoa look spectacular in these mugs. The thick, substantial handles feel good to grip, and the mug has a nice balanced overall weightiness to it. The smooth glazed interior is easy clean, and handwashing is recommended, though I put them through my dishwasher just fine. The thickness of the mug itself holds heat well. There's a reason I gave these 5 stars; I like everything about them.
