Our story
TOMO makes kitchen pieces meant to be reached for every day — not admired from a shelf.
We started with a simple frustration: most kitchenware is either beautiful and fragile, or tough and ugly. Very little is both durable and worth leaving out on the counter.
So we design around use. Stoneware that holds heat and survives the dishwasher. Cast iron that goes from oven to table without apology. Glazes chosen for how they age, not how they photograph on day one.
Every piece is made to earn its place — through a second winter of sourdough, a fourth year of morning coffee, a crock of sauerkraut that outlasts the recipe you found it with.
Stoneware where it belongs, cast iron where it works harder. We pick the material for the job, not the story.
Every glaze is lead-free and food safe. Nothing that touches your food is an afterthought.
Dishwasher, oven, table. These are working pieces, not display pieces.
Small differences in glaze and finish are part of the process, not a defect.
